I’ve Fallen For A Legendary Ninja – Shall We Date: Ninja Love – Hattori Hanzo Main Story – Walkthrough Review

Shall We Date Ninja Love - Hattori Hanzo Main Story

Poor Hanzo… Goemon is so Blunt.

I was so excited that this finally came out! I have played this story in December of 2012 when it game out in the GREE version and loved it but because of the nature of GREE version i would not be able to play it again without going through a lot of annoying hassles etc. So i decided to wait until they came out with the story in the paid app version.

I bought this story in the ‘Shall we Date: Ninja Love’ app (which I bought previously for 4.99 CAD from the apple appstore) for $3.99 CAD. Hanzo’s story is 7 Chapters long includes 3 reward pictures and no in-app emails. His story starts AFTER the end of the war against Nobunaga, which would be the ending of all other main character stories. So is Hanzo stealing you all to himself after the war is said and done?! If you haven’t played Ninja Love previously I think it would make sense to play one of the other characters main story first so you understand exactly what’s going on. It’s not necessary but it helps.

I think there are two endings to this story (because there are two endings in the GREE version which was exactly the same) – A Happy ending and Normal ending.  Unlike a lot of voltage game questions the answers in this game sometimes aren’t as obvious. The nice thing about this game is when you pick the correct answer it gives you a sign that its correct! A sparkle animation and a cute sparkle sound.  Honestly If it weren’t for that I’d probably never get the Happy ending in any of the stories!

Here are the answers I chose in order to get a happy ending.

  1. You should get angry.
  2. You’re not scary
  3. I’m naked !
  4. You’re like an older brother
  5. I can’t Leave you here.
  6. She’s a wonderful woman. (*not right answer)
Shall We Date Ninja Love - Hattori Hanzo Main Story

Hanzo buries his feelings because of the danger he fears he will bring me

I have played this story already, through the GREE version of ‘ShallWeDate: NinjaLove’. I HATE GREE, because it goes so slow through the story that it would take me months to finish! I cannot stand it so I ended up having to buying riceballs and passports going through this route and ended up probably paying $30 just to go through this route only once! Yeah I’m crazy, but I love Hanzo and this story was so exciting. And That DAMN GREE, once I finished I could not replay it without going through that horror again! So I’ve been waiting patiently for NNT Solomare to come out with the update to this paid version of the game. Finally after 6 months of waiting they released it Yesterday! I bought it so that I could replay it whenever I feel like it.

Although this story is only half as long as the other main character stories there is no shortage of action and romance in it. This is why I like NinjaLove – Add an element of death and war to a story and it makes it 100 times more romantic.  It takes you on a wilder rollercoaster than any other type of more realistic story out there. The story is written well and has all the elements of all the other Ninja Love stories in it.

Shall We Date Ninja Love - Hattori Hanzo Main Story

It makes me want him even more!

Hanzo is just super amazing! He is a Legendary Ninja and is so overly polite and strict when it comes to you. He is the total opposite of Goemon who is a ladies man. In fact you are included in his missions because he is unsocialable and scary looking! However he is so sweet and caring although he is very good at restraining his feelings. I could not help but feel an extreme feeling of lonliness at times in this story because he would restrain himself so much from showing his feelings to me. Once he shows his cute side though, it makes me feel hungry for more. By the (happy) ending his change in personality towards you and him fully showing his feelings for you is incredibly… HOT! XD I can’t believe someone who is so reserved and disciplined could be the way he was at the end. Kind of reminds me of Kotaro who is my favourite character.  It’s so hot I want to melt into a puddle of MOE! (There’s my inner Renge trying to come out)

He has 3 reward pictures and again they are the same as in the Gree version. They are all very good as in all Ninja Love pictures; no game has come close to having as beautiful pictures as ninja love. My favourite is the first, you get to see Hanzo’s beautiful smile, which really does make my heart flutter. Again the last picture as I probably tweeted before, is good as well. Hanzo looks very sexy in it but the MC has such a stupid smile that it kind of throws the whole picture off. It is kind of disappointing.

Shall We Date Ninja Love - Hattori Hanzo Main Story

This definitely…

Shall We Date Ninja Love - Hattori Hanzo Main Story

Is the Best side of Hanzo!

I really enjoyed this story the second time around. Even more so because now I can play it over and over again without GREE taking hundreds of dollars from my wallet!  I definitely would play this story again and recommend it to anyone who enjoyed playing the other Ninja Love Stories.

I was so unhappy when I completed Hanzo for the first time and got a stupid unhappy ending. But when I found this and got the happy ending, I was so glad!!! Oh, and the last happy answer is “That’s not all…” I did Hanzo third, may ultimate fav is Kotaro. Silent hotness…….

First time I played I played Kotaro who is my fave too. And I got the unhappy ending… I was SO PISSED… Usually unhappy endings in other games are still kinda like “Meh, oh well” but cuz in this one he like dies… And I am miserable for the rest of my life, like WTH lol… After that I’ve never gotten a unhappy ending In this game. I was too afraid it would really upset me lol so every time I’d get more than three answers wrong, I’d restart fr the beginning… BUAHAHAHA

I got happy ending on Kotaro on my first try. I was like, “Yeah! Now I play other ones!” I got normals and was like, “Well this sucks. I have to cheat and to get always happy endings.” So I started researching every character so I would always get happy endings. The game is so emotional! I start to cry when our character almost loses her love! *sighs happily* I was recently asked a question about if I could bring a fake character to life and my automatic response was Kotaro. I mean really, who doesn’t think that he is just the hottest thing on the planet?

I’m really new to otome games and was wandering if this company, if you get the paid versions, are capable of being played on a tablet without SIM card? I’m only able to play 3 of voltage Inc, so I wanted to make sure on this before I paid for 1

I played the new games such as bodyguard and knights devotion and office secrets on my iPad which has no SIM card. But you need wifi to start the game I believe. I haven’t tried any of the older games.

I’m so glad I found this blog. I would have never known they had come out with it yet. Ninja love is the only one I am willing to spend all my money on.

Ah really glad for this blog but I have two questions… What’s the difference between the free version and paid version of this app? and second can you restart the main story line at anytime? I just started playing this morning… I would really appreciate the help :)

The free version is “free” which basically means that you don’t have to pay for playing. But there are limits to how much you play. You can only play up to 5 chapters a day because your energy only allows you to thats equivalent of like 3-5 min of gameplay a day. If you are impatient like me and wanted to cruise through the story till the end you have to buy rice balls to read more right away and passports to get through the story faster. I didn’t know about the paid app at he time and for kotaro’s story I spent about $70 on that stuff in one night and I didn’t even get through the whole story. If I waited it would have probably took me a month or two to get through the story for free. With the paid app, you pay for the app initially and that gives you Saizo, kotaro and sasuke’s story. For each other story and set of side stories you pay $3.99. But you can play each game as many times as you want when you want them. GREE you cannot replay without going though the passport and riceball thing over again. For example that. $70 I spent on that stuff when I started kotaros story, I spent I basically lost, cuz I cannot backtrack through the story or anything once ive used all that stuff. I hate GREE versions of any game. I don’t have the patience for them and the only reason I keeps ninja love version is for the paid events that come out once in a while. GREE always gets the new story releases first then we have to wait for them to be released on the paid app which can take a long time.

Heya. I just found this and I’m having a hard time finding information on anything else. I want to get my hands on the Hanzo story. I have the paid version, but i have an android. Is it available for the droid? Or am I in the waiting forever boat? Any help would be great!

I’m not sure for androids :( I only have apple and most people I know who play have apple stuff too

Uhm why is it in my gallery there are 5 stills for Hanzo? O. O

    September 14, 2013 at 6:54 pm

    • OtomeJunkie!

Seriously? Can you link them for me. I’ve only ever gotten three on both the gree and he paid version, in the gree there are only 3 slots so i know i got them all other than the GREE bonus one. and when I looked around for other pictures from other people I couldn’t find any.

      September 14, 2013 at 7:27 pm

      • Amanda

I didn’t unlock them but there are slots for more

        September 14, 2013 at 7:35 pm

      • OtomeJunkie!

Oh yeah cuz it’s defaulted that each character has a certain amount of slots. I have empty slots in my paid version as well. Hanzos story is much shorter than all the others as well. There are no opportunities in the story for them to add in new pictures because it is so short.

        September 14, 2013 at 10:57 pm

      • OtomeJunkie!

It’s the exact same storyline in the GREE version and the slots in my GREE version tell me that there are only 3 pictures and I have them all.

        September 14, 2013 at 10:59 pm

      • Amanda

That’s so weird! But I’m also kind of annoyed at the storyline itself. Was it really that hard to write 14 chapters like the rest of them? :I

        September 15, 2013 at 12:28 pm

      • OtomeJunkie!

Yeah I wondered that too :( I really like Hanzo and I wish there was more. I buy all the events on the GREE version cuz they don’t come out for the paid one. And I usually like Hanzos stories the best… Especially spice up your love… That one is seriously spicy!!

Thank you for the post!! I am currently working on Sasuke (mreow). I have so many questions but I suppose my main question is, if I pay for the game do I still have to wait five hours for my energy to return or do I have something like unlimited energy? I am always wary of paying for games because sometimes they don’t end up being what you’d expect.

    September 21, 2013 at 9:18 pm

    • OtomeJunkie!

Are you talking about the GREE version or the Paid version

      September 21, 2013 at 9:51 pm

      • Megan

I guess I am talking about the paid version. I am currently playing the Gree version… I didn’t know they were different, heh. If you can’t tell already I am pretty damn new to these games, lol.

        September 21, 2013 at 10:16 pm

    • OtomeJunkie!

Non-GREE you pay for the game. You will get sasuke, Saizo and kotaros stories with that initial purchase. And you can play however many times and how fast you want no need for energy or passports and all that stupidness. You just have to pay for all the other main stories and side stories. It’s worth it in my opinion.

Ok, that really helps! Thank you!

    • OtomeJunkie!

Sorry, it’s just the way it works. Voltage is also that way. When I am underground I cannot play any games other than the original SWD ninja love paid version. It’s basically like how people cannot play MMO’s without wifi. Although it is a 1 person game still they want you to be able to sign in in Order to play. I think it’s because they update their in app ads using wifi and that’s why it doesn’t work without any sort of internet :( sorry lots of people suffer from this problem

  12. Hello! I have a quick question about the UNPAID Ninja Love+ Hanzo route. I got all six answers right (by cheating of course!) but as you know, there are three hears ratings in that thin bar, Unhappy, Happy and Super Happy. My bar is at Happy still. I have no more questions to answer and a little message is telling me to use the love potion to increase my rating (But I don’t wanna use up my lovely love potion bottles!)

So in Hanzo, is Happy End = Super Happy End? Or will I get the smutty SH end even if my love rating bar hasn’t gone into the double heart zone?

    April 11, 2014 at 7:41 am

    • OtomeJunkie!

I’m not sure. To be honest I stopped playing NinjaLove, when they came out with NinjaLove+… Im pretty pissed at them because they don’t update the older game, and I still have like 30$ Worth of stuff there I need to use, But no new stories I cn use he passports for and stuff… And i can’t use them in the new game I hen vet figured out how anyways. It really pissed me off.

However if it is anything like the first. yes the Super happy ending is the Happy ending in the Paid version.
